Musos At The Shelley 2015 Write-up.
Our Musos at The Shelley took place this year on 30th May, at our favourite pub, The Shelley Arms, Broadbridge Heath, West Sussex.
It was our 6th Shelley do, and another amazing success. After a torrential rainy Friday, the sun came out and the good weather stayed with us for the entire day ! We always have a nice, laid back vibe and this year was no different with hundreds of bikes turning up throughout the day. We had 25 awesome machines that entered into the show, with many more in the car park that would have been worthy exhibits too!
The evening part of the event is a slightly different affair ! Most people get their bikes home after the magnificent MOB trophies have been handed out, and then head back later with their dancing trousers and drinking hats firmly sorted.
Rather than me ramble on, we will be posting pictures of the winners, the show, the general bikes, the people and the bands on this ‘ere site over the next few weeks on the Media page. If you were there, you will know what it was like. If you missed it, then the pictures should give you an idea of what you missed and we hope to see you next year !!
So, at this point, I would like to thank each and everyone who made it over to our Shelley do. It would n’t be half of what it is without your support….cheers !
Big thanks must go to all the Musos guys who helped throughout the day, to Mark who made the magnificent trophies again ! to Hannah, Taygan and Kaye for running the show and dealing with all the admin stuff. To Mythago, our Morris dancing loons who leapt about during the afternoon. To Richard, Andy, Alex and all the Shelley staff at the Shelley who let us take over for 12 hours and keep the beer flowing. To the awesome bands, Tune All 6, High Octane Junkies and Brass Monkeys who played blistering sets in the evening. To Don who travels up from the West Country with his wife Stella every year…..he then gets onstage with anyone he can and plays the most amazing harmonica!!
Last but not least, big thanks to Big Pete. I could n’t get this all together without his support and constant laughter……and he sorts the weather ! Cheers Pete.
So, keep checking the site for updates and pictures.
